Might is Right?

If might is right, then we should be using our brains to systematically torture all the variations of life (and for that matter death) all around us.... Fortunately for us, we get to benefit from 30 years of research by Cal Tech professors... and as it turns out, natures doesn't discriminate between species....

In the end, even the most educated people certainly have the capacity and freedom to choose how much pain and suffering they want to inflict onto others... For without Choice it wouldn't be much of an existence!!

The Perception That Might Is Right... http://www.pbs.org/auschwitz/about/ ... and those working to end this way of thinking: http://www.cvt.org/main.php/Advocacy/HelpEndTortureNow || http://www.ohchr.org/english/

The important question then becomes how altruistic do you want to be.... for without social altruism there would be no women's right movement, rights for minorities, no public education, welfare for the mentally or physically disabled or a living wage for the working class...

Although Some women have used feminist jurisprudence to turn the scales of justice So Much that men are now often reduced to nothing more than pocketbooks -- as opposed being perceived as caring and companionate fathers who deserve their children as much as their wives... More to the point, by attaining and maintaining perceptions of caring and "fairness," hopefully a 50% divorce rate will cease to be the norm! The consequences of "greed," as opposed to "fairness," are astonishing --- be it in family, business or in the collective values of any society...

It is interesting how current "feminist" jurisprudence uses the value of accustomed to secure resources rather than providing incentives for "equality" and work --- taking into account the value of "women's work" of course... As far as accustomed is concerned, a man could just as easily say to his wife, I've become accustomed to your affection and I require monetary compensation if you leave me! Why don't we see this loss compensated?

But then, not everyone thinks like that...

We shall see if this drama will go in the positive direction, as more and more people Choose to believe in attaining and maintaining perceptions of caring and "fairness," which is based on our underlying assumptions and continual learning and growth!
